A meeting was held with the students of the Medical Faculty of Nakhchivan State University at the Central Customs Hospital

According to the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Medical Service Chair of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan State University, a group of students studying in the VI course of the Faculty of Medicine of Nakhchivan State University started an internship program in various departments of surgery, internal diseases, emergency medicine, family health and elective subjects at the Central Customs Hospital. 

On the first day of the internship program - September 15, 2025, a meeting was held with the students of the Medical Faculty of Nakhchivan State University who started the internship program at the Central Customs Hospital. At the event, deputy head of the Medical Service Chair of the State Customs Committee, associate professor Ismayil Efendiyev, general surgeon of the General Surgery Chair of the Central Customs Hospital, doctor of medical sciences Dr. Aynur Safiyeva, students of the Faculty of Medicine of the State University participated.

At the end of the event, students' questions on various topics were answered, and their opinions on areas of interest were heard. The doctors gave advice on the future professional development of the students and provided detailed information about the progress of the internship program.

Then the students were directed to the relevant departments of the Central Customs Hospital and each of them began to develop practical knowledge and skills in their chosen field.
