A meeting with doctoral students was held at Nakhchivan State University
On October 28, there was a meeting with doctoral students and dissertation students studying in the university's Doctor of Philosophy and Sciences program. At the meeting, the university's vice-rector for science and innovation Elsever Asadov spoke and said that raising academic indicators and strengthening positions in the international scientific environment are among the main goals in the science strategy of the higher educational institution. Elsever Asadov spoke about the requirements, shortcomings and ways of solving them in scientific activity. The vice-rector noted that it is important to increase activity in scientific research, to choose topics according to the requirements of the time, and to publish articles in prestigious international journals. He emphasized that the articles published in prestigious journals serve to expand the researcher's academic activity, improve his scientific performance, and increase the scientific reputation of the country in general. title="Chapay Guliyev profile">Chapay Guliyev gave information about the statistical indicators of doctoral and dissertation students at the university for 2025. He said that currently 62 doctoral students are studying in 34 specialties of the Doctor of Philosophy program, 9 doctoral students are studying in 6 specialties of the Doctor of Science program, 10 dissertation students are studying in 10 specialties of the Doctor of Philosophy program, and 15 dissertation students are studying in 13 specialties of the Doctor of Science program. Chapay Guliyev talked with the scientific supervisors about the organization of the work, the implementation of the work planned during the study period, and the scientific responsibilities of doctoral students.
