A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Nakhchivan State University and Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).

          A cooperation meeting was held between Nakhchivan State University and Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).

          In the event held in the conference hall of NSU, Elbrus Isayev, rector of the higher education institution, gave a speech and gave the guests detailed information about the history, activities, and development of the university and spoke about the importance of the event. He noted that Nakhchivan State University, which was founded in 1967, has been making important contributions to the provision of personnel potential, social development, and training of qualified specialists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for many years. The Rector talked about the successes of the university during the year, its achievements in the fields of scientific research, training and internationalization. He emphasized that NSU is the largest employer in Nakhchivan with the recruitment of 252 people in 2025. UNEC rector Adalat Muradov expressed his satisfaction with the meeting in his speech, shared information about the higher education institution he leads, and talked about the steps taken for the development of science. Talking about the "Popularization of Science" project of UNEC, he noted that this project aims to increase the attractiveness of science and the interest of the young generation in science. He emphasized that the introduction of Azerbaijani scientists and their books to the society is one of the main missions. Adalat Muradov spoke about his impressions of NSU: "Nakhchivan State University is really a university that has achieved great success", he said. In the memorandum, the integration of the electronic libraries of both universities and joint research were reflected. Rector of UNEC Adalat Muradov emphasized that the integration of libraries is the first initiative of this kind, and noted that conducting joint research can give a serious impetus to scientific cooperation between universities.

          ADPU vice-rector, Professor Mahira Nagygizi expressed his satisfaction to be back at NSU, congratulated both rectors and valued the cooperation agreement signed between UNEC and NSU as an important step. He drew attention to President Ilham Aliyev's Decree on the protection of the purity of the Azerbaijani language and measures to improve the state language, as well as the interviews he gave about our mother tongue. Mahira Naghigizi spoke about the refinement of the Azerbaijani language, the existing problems in this field and ways to solve them, as well as the protection of national and moral values.

          Academician Mukhtar Imanov, a full member of ANAS, spoke about the importance of the "Popularization of Science" project and the role played by this project in popularizing science. He touched on the issues of preservation and refinement of the Azerbaijani language.

          In the end, mutual gifts were presented as a souvenir of the meeting, a photo was taken.
