A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between NSU and AzTU

Memorandum of mutual understanding was signed between Nakhchivan State University and Azerbaijan Technical University.

The memorandum envisages expansion of cooperation, strengthening of scientific research activities and implementation of innovative projects

Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev talked about the university's achievements in the fields of science, education and international cooperation in recent years and the goals ahead. He said that within the framework of today's cooperation, joint education, scientific research and innovation projects will be implemented in the fields of cyber security, information security and digital stability.

Vilayat Valiyev, rector of Azerbaijan Technical University, noted that based on cooperation, joint research and teaching activities will be organized in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine and deep learning, generative artificial intelligence, agent-based systems, decision support systems and responsible AI. At the same time, in order to support the scientific activity of doctoral students, joint scientific guidance, joint dissertation research, seminars and mentoring programs will be implemented. the possibilities of creating innovation centers are also reflected.

The parties will also cooperate in the fields of organizing scientific conferences, symposiums, short-term courses, implementing lifelong education programs, sharing innovative teaching practices and exchanging scientific and methodical publications.

It was noted that the universities will also explore the possibilities of joint participation in international and regional grant programs financed by the Organization of Turkish States, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and other donor organizations.

At the end, gifts were presented between the parties and a commemorative photo was taken.
