A panel discussion called "Liberation beginning with the return" was held at NSU

Panel discussion entitled "Liberation starting from the return" within the "Commemoration Week of the Great Leader" program dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev by the Student Scientific Society of Nakhchivan State University It was held.

Honored journalist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, head of the Press Service of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in 1991-1992, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences Kahira Huseynova and the State Defense Committee of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were on the panel. Urfulla Gurbanov, the former head of the counter-intelligence department, the authorized military representative of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, spoke.>told about his invaluable services and shared his personal memories with the participants. He said that the return of genius Heydar Aliyev to Nakhchivan in the complicated socio-political conditions of the country in the early 1990s was a light of hope for the people and the path to independence started from Nakhchivan. As a result of the will and perseverance of the national leader, the independence of Azerbaijan was protected, strengthened, recognized in the world, and in a short period of time, our country went through a great development path and became a strong country among the world nations. Kahira Huseynova noted that the foundation of the future Karabakh Victory was laid thanks to the Great Leader's far-sighted policy, economic reforms and steps taken in the field of army building. This foundation was completed under the leadership of the head of state, the worthy follower of the Great Leader, Ilham Aliyev, and today we are celebrating the 5th anniversary of our Victory in the Patriotic War.

Another speaker of the panel, Urfulla Gurbanov, a former military intelligence officer and a close comrade-in-arms of the Great Leader, shared the memories of the period of working together with the Great Leader, reviving the real picture of that time in his speech. He spoke about the preservation of the foundations of statehood in Nakhchivan under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev, the organization of the defense of the region against foreign threats, and the steps taken in the direction of national ideology. Noting that the Great Leader was an example of high patriotism and determination, he drew attention to the complex socio-political conditions at the time when he worked with him and the fact that a genius made fateful decisions of great importance for Azerbaijan in those conditions.>
