A report concert of the "Fortepiano" department was organized at NSU

The report concert of the "Fortepiano" chair of the Faculty of Arts was held at Nakhchivan State University.

The head of the "Fortepiano" department, "Honored Worker of Culture" of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Honored Art Worker of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic", professor Saida Mammadova spoke about the perseverance and ability of the chair's students. He said that preparing so many musical numbers in a short period of time is an indicator of the hard work and talent of the students. Thus, Fikret Amirov's "Guleram Gulsen", Saida Mammadova's "Nakhchivanam", Frédéric Chopin's "Waltz", as well as Adil Babirov's "Schertso", Tofig Guliyev's "Baku", Shafiga Akhundova's "Hasratinden" and other musical numbers were performed. He wished the students success in their next creative activities. The rector noted that one of the first majors opened at Nakhchivan State University is "Piano" major, and this field is of special importance for the university. It was said that many of the world-famous composers have created a rich musical legacy for the piano. Elbrus Isayev congratulated those who took part in the organization of the concert program and emphasized that such events made an important contribution to the development of students' creative potential.

The concert program was received with interest by the audience and gave the participants a good mood.
