Republican conference dedicated to June 15 - National Liberation Day, "Liberation ideology starting from Nakhchivan: Heydar Aliyev's path and modern Azerbaijan" was organized at Nakhchivan State University within the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture". The conference was jointly organized by Nakhchivan State University, New Azerbaijan Party Nizami district organization, and New Azerbaijan Party Nakhchivan city organization.

First, the grandly erected monument of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in Nakhchivan city was visited, flowers were placed in front of the monument, and the dear memory of the genius was honored. done. Then the Heydar Aliyev Museum was visited, and the exhibits reflecting the activity and state services of the Great Leader during the Nakhchivan period were visited.

Then the exhibition dedicated to the National Liberation Day at the Faculty of Arts of NSU was viewed.

Before the start of the conference The dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who died for the Motherland was commemorated with a minute's silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev opened the event with an introductory speech and said that the development of modern Azerbaijan based on the political course defined by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and this strategic line is successfully continued today. The Rector noted that against the background of complex socio-political processes taking place in the country until 1993, Heydar Aliyev's far-sighted policy during the Nakhchivan period prevented the danger of the region's separation from Azerbaijan and created a basis for making important political and economic decisions. After the speeches, membership cards were presented to newly admitted students to the ranks of the New Azerbaijan Party and the YAP anthem was played.

The conference continued with a concert program under the artistic direction of Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, docent Mubariz Askerov. Musical numbers such as "Shan yerimiz", "Alagoz", "Heart that burns like a torch" and "You are such a peak" were played in the concert program.

The works were presented with the accompaniment of the Nakhchivan State University Symphony Orchestra, performed by President laureates Ilkin Abdullayev and Israfil Qiblaliyev, Honored Artists of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tural Najafov and Gulyanag Farzaliyeva.
