A republican scientific conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev "The time-tested value of science" was held at NSU

On November 27, a republican scientific conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev was held at Nakhchivan State University called "The Time-Tested Value of Science". Yusif Mammadaliyev" corner and the exhibition "Academic Yusif Mammadaliyev - 120" opened at the Innovation Center of Nakhchivan State University.

At the opening ceremony of the conference at the Innovation Center of Nakhchivan State University, the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence. The National Anthem was played. He noted that various measures are being implemented in the direction of studying and promoting Mammadaliyev's scientific heritage.

It was emphasized that the conference held today consists of the implementation of that Action Plan and the publication of reports dedicated to Yusif Mammadaliyev's life and activities. Rector Elbrus Isayev said that academician Yusif Mammadaliyev was always treated with great respect at Nakhchivan State University.

Ismayil Hajiyev, chairman of Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS, full member of ANAS, said during his speech on the topic "The path to the rise of science: Yusif Mammadaliyev and ANAS", that the name of Yusif Mammadaliyev, who is very active in Azerbaijan's science and social and political life, is highly valued. Academician Ismayil Hajiyev noted that Yusif Mammadaliyev devoted his whole life to the study of oil and gas. His contributions to the period he lived in were unequivocally appreciated in the USSR and outside the USSR. Even today, it has managed to preserve its value.

Then the director of ETN Institute of Natural Resources, corresponding member of ANAS Tofig Aliyev "As the founder of chemistry in Azerbaijan, Yusif Mammadaliyev's place", Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering of Nakhchivan State University, professor Javanshir Zeynalov "The life of Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev: a life devoted to science", associate professor of Mingachevir State University, Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry Adil Aslanov, Nakhchivan Chairman of the YAP regional organization of the State University, associate professor Bahruz Mammadov "The influence of Yusif Mammadaliyev's ideas on the modernization of the petrochemical industry", head of the Ore and non-ore deposits laboratory of ETN Institute of Natural Resources, associate professor Aliya Rzayeva They spoke on the topic "Scientific activity during the war years: extraordinary services of Yusif Mammadaliyev".

Then the winners of the "Best Article" competition among young scientists dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of academician Yusif Mammadaliyev on the topic "Yusif Mammadaliyev - the pinnacle of Azerbaijani science" were awarded. The reports of more than 60 participants from 21 different scientific and educational institutions of the republic were heard in the sections.
