A scientific conference "Development of export-oriented industry: industrialization policy and infrastructure supplies of the republic" was held at Nakhchivan State University.

Before the conference, the guests laid flowers in front of the monument of the Great Leader in the main square of Nakhchivan and visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum. In the museum, the guests were informed about the life and multifaceted activities of the genius.  

At the conference held at Nakhchivan State University, there was a preview of the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The exhibition reflecting the historical and cultural monuments of the Autonomous Republic, its geography and the Nakhchivan period of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was welcomed by the guests with interest.

Then the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

Opening speeches were heard at the conference held with the participation of Nakhchivan State University, the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Lazzat Group LLC.

Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev noted that the purpose of the conference provided for in the annual activity plan of the higher education institution is to complexify and systematize the results of multi-directional scientific research of scientists on the relevant topic and make the long-term prospects of the national economy more accessible. Bit was stated that today the requirements and main criteria for universities are related to economy and industrialization. In this regard, the rector, who appreciated the essence of the conference, spoke about the importance of the specialties taught in this direction at the higher education institution. Elbrus Isayev said that work is continuing in the Faculty of Economics of the University in the direction of building specialties and strategic goals in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. It was noted that the efficient cooperation of the university with entrepreneurial enterprises allows the students to be formed as personnel in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. The Rector wished success to the work of the conference, which contributed to the research environment of the university with modern challenges. It was noted that in the autonomous republic, tax control has been strengthened in order to make labor relations more transparent, and tax payer service centers have been established. It was emphasized that the measures implemented within the framework of the state programs adopted for the socio-economic development of the regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in recent years have led to economic growth in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the creation of new jobs and enterprises, as well as the development of communal and social infrastructure. Nazim Muzaffarli spoke about the importance of joint cooperation with Nakhchivan State University in the field of economy.

Teymur Rzayev, the entrepreneur of "Lazzet Group" LLC, talked about the development path of the company, which cooperates with many countries of the world since 1995, and its contribution to the economy of the autonomous republic. It was noted that "Lazzet Group" LLC has close relations with Nakhchivan State University, and graduates of the university are working effectively in the company. Speeches entitled "Development of export-oriented industry in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic at the level of new economic realities" were heard.

A video dedicated to the economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was watched at the conference. 14.0pt">A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Nakhchivan State University and the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Institute of Economics. The memorandum envisages the promotion of joint research works involving the exchange of academic and research personnel, the exchange of academic research data and technical materials, the implementation of joint publication or cultural activities, the organization of conferences, seminars, symposiums, congresses and a number of joint academic and scientific activities, and the involvement of employees of higher education institutions in the educational process.

Then the conference partners and speakers were presented with plaques and gifts. Scientists from about 20 higher education institutions listened to scientific articles on 44 topics.
