An event called "Celebration of Victory" was held at the International Cambridge School
An event called "Victory Celebration" was held at the International Cambridge School of Nakhchivan State University, dedicated to November 8 - Victory Day. The event, which reflects the pride of our historical Victory, the values of national unity and patriotism, was remembered by students' creative examples and a rich artistic program.
Within the framework of the event, a preview of the STEAM exhibition called "Lightning Victory" was first held. About 20 innovative projects prepared by students were displayed at the exhibition. About 30 paintings reflecting the love of the Motherland, national values and the pride of the historical Victory were presented in the painting exhibition "Colors of Victory". More than 50 letters addressed by students to our soldiers and veterans were also exhibited.
The official part of the event began with a one-minute silence commemorating the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our Motherland. Then the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played by the students.
Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev, who opened the event with an opening speech, congratulated the participants on Victory Day and emphasized that the historical Victory occupies a special place in the history of the statehood of the Azerbaijani people. He said that the Victory won as a result of the decisive leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the heroism of the Azerbaijan Army and the unshakable unity of our people is a celebration of our national will, strength and solidarity.
The Rector noted the importance of always honoring the dear memory of our martyrs and showing the heroism of our veterans as an example to future generations. Elbrus Isayev pointed out that one of the main missions of modern education is to educate not only knowledgeable and skilled people, but also personalities related to their national identity, history and homeland. Emphasizing the importance of protecting national and moral values in the international educational environment, the rector highly appreciated the school's initiatives in this direction.
Bayram Aliyev, director of the International Cambridge School, said in his speech that Victory Day is a symbol of national pride and unity of our people, and noted that raising students in the spirit of patriotism occupies an important place in the educational and educational activities of the school.
Later, Asad Alakbarov, the father of the martyr Bagir Alakbarov, and Parviz Muradov, a veteran of the Patriotic War, spoke about the sacrifice of our martyrs, the heroism of the Azerbaijani soldier, and the spiritual significance of the historical victory for future generations.
In the artistic part of the event, students performed the songs "Can Azerbaijan" and "Happy Azerbaijan", the musical dance "Shushan Daglari", the composition "Galib Azerbaijan" and the dance "Zafar".
One of the most effective moments of the program was the scene called "Trust of Peace and Victory". In the stage play, the historical Victory was won at the cost of great sacrifices, the importance of preserving peace and the upbringing of future generations as educated, patriotic personalities was artistically expressed.
In the end, it ended with the "Peace Song" performed by the students.
