An event called "Zangezur My Home" was held at Nakhchivan State University

With the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Nakhchivan State University, and the West Azerbaijan Community, the Kangarli District Chalkhangala Village Children's Music School dedicated the event "Zangazur Yurdum Myin" to West Azerbaijan.

Before the event, yalli was presented by students of Chalkhangala Village Children's Music School of Kangarli District. Then there was a viewing of the exhibition of handicrafts of the students of the Art Faculty of Nakhchivan State University. The exhibition marked the 102nd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the works dedicated to Western Azerbaijan. was commemorated, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. After that, a video called "Longing" dedicated to the theme of Western Azerbaijan was shown.

Rector of Nakhchivan State University, head of the Representation of West Azerbaijan Community in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Elbrus Isayev, who opened the event with an introductory speech, noted that today our people had the opportunity to create an objective picture of their history. The events that have been kept secret for many years and have been distorted from time to time get their true essence and value. Undoubtedly, one of the most important reasons for this was the restoration of territorial integrity and historical justice by ending the 30-year occupation of Azerbaijan in 2020 under the leadership of the victorious Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Elbrus Isayev added that within the framework of the "Return to Western Azerbaijan" festival-congress, which has been held for two years now, important steps were taken in this direction, books related to Western Azerbaijan were presented, and educational events were held. Seyidov said that today every citizen of Azerbaijan is witnessing great historical events. Strong and powerful Azerbaijan, which has become a voice in the world community, is shaping new realities. It was emphasized that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who continues the policy of the Great Leader, has successfully implemented the concept of returning to Western Azerbaijan, following his father's will and liberating our lands from occupation. Today's event is an example of the cultural approach to that concept.

Then Vice-Rector for International Relations of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Member of the Board of Management of West Azerbaijan, Chairman of Keshkand Community, Professor Mahira Naghigizi made a speech and noted that it is possible to prove that the lands of West Azerbaijan historically belonged to Azerbaijani Turks by studying toponyms and folklore examples. The professor noted that falsifying hundreds of place names and historical facts does not change anything.

At the end of the event, the Chalkhangala Village Music School team was awarded with an Honorary Order.
