An event dedicated to "Schoolchildren's Creativity Day" and "Alphabet Day" of first graders was held at Nakhchivan State University under the auspices of the International Cambridge School.
Before the event, an exhibition of watercolor paintings by first graders was viewed. After that, the dear memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence and the National Anthem was played. he emphasized that he played an important role in revealing his talents. The rector highly appreciated the activities of the school, the applied modern teaching methods, and the projects that serve to develop students' creative and analytical thinking skills. He said that although the students study in English at the school, adherence to the ideology of Azerbaijaniism, national traditions and moral values is maintained as the main priority. Elbrus Isayev congratulated the students of the first grade on the occasion of the Alphabet holiday and wished them success in their future educational life.
Then the Minister of Science and Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elkhan Najafov congratulated the students and spoke about the importance of modern educational environment and creative activities in their comprehensive development. The minister noted that such events make an important contribution to revealing children's talents, developing creative skills, and forming them on the basis of national and universal values. He said that education is not limited to the acquisition of academic knowledge, but also includes the comprehensive development of personality. He talked about his successes and the priority directions for the coming period. He drew attention to the work done in the direction of attracting foreign teachers to the school in order to further improve the quality of teaching and expand international experience.
After that, the school's academic coordinators Fabian Chavez and Angela Lara spoke and said that "Schoolchildren's Creativity Day" is a special day when students demonstrate their skills, love for art and creative potential. It was noted that the International Cambridge School successfully combines modern educational standards, innovative approaches, national-spiritual values and the development of creative thinking in its activities.

In the artistic part of the event, "Wollerman" and "Macarena" dances were performed by the first grade students of the International Cambridge School. The pantomime performance "A Day at School" prepared by the students was received with interest. The dance "Uzumchuler" performed to the music of the film "Where is Ahmed" and the song "Greeting to you" performed by the vocal group were greeted with applause by the audience. He performed Hajibeylin's "Arazbari". After that, a waltz dance based on the music of the famous composer Tofig Guliyev was presented.
The artistic part of the event ended with the final composition called "The Sound of Silence".
