An event dedicated to the activities of the Center for Inclusive Education was held at NSU
An event related to the activities of the Inclusive Education Center was organized at Nakhchivan State University.
The director of the Inclusive Education Center, PhD in pedagogy, associate professor Taleh Khalilov gave detailed information about the activities of the center and the upcoming tasks. He said that currently 4 students with disabilities are studying at the center, special attention and care is given to them. Necessary opportunities are created for these students, as well as supplies needed in the educational process are provided by the center.
Dean of the Center for Master's and Doctoral Studies, doctor of philosophy in psychology, associate professor Chapay Guliyev regular psychologist He emphasized that the strengthening of consultations, educational seminars and teacher-student-parent cooperation is one of the main mechanisms for ensuring inclusion.
Psychologist Nurana Salimova of the Psychological Service and Child Development Center spoke about the difficulties and obstacles that may arise during the psychological and social adaptation of students with disabilities, including the role of psychologists during psycho-social support.
Latifah Guliyeva, a specialist of the Inclusive Education Center, gave brief information about the center's future plans and obligations and presented the concert program prepared by the "Faith in the Future" group headed by her. In the concert program, inclusive students performed "Karabakh shikastesi", "Yellow Bride", "Ashiqam" and other musical numbers.
A psychological scene was performed by students studying "Psychology" under the guidance of university psychologists Mina Akbarli and Hajar Alasgarova. The educational scene left a good impression on the participants of the event.
At the end of the event, Elbrus Isayev, rector of the higher education institution, thanked the organizers and emphasized the importance of inclusion in higher education. Appreciating the successful activity of the center, the rector noted that work is being continued to adapt the campus to an inclusive environment. Elbrus Isayev also said that the stage play prepared by the students was successfully organized and advised them to actively participate in trainings related to inclusive education in the future and to use the experience of foreign countries to apply it in their fields. >Badem Aliyeva
