An event dedicated to the commemoration day of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Nakhchivan State University

Before the start of the event, the dear memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan was commemorated. Then the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.  

Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Nakhchivan State University Nicat Yagubov in the speech of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to the people of Azerbaijan talked about the important role he played in his destiny, his historical services for our country. He emphasized that under the wise leadership of Heydar Aliyev, the position of Azerbaijan in the international world was strengthened, internal stability was established and the foundation of comprehensive development was laid. It was stated that as a result of deep reforms and strategic steps implemented by the National Leader during both periods of power, the independence of our country was eternal and unshakable. At the same time, Nijat Yagubov emphasized the special attention and care that Heydar Aliyev showed to the youth. He noted that the educational reforms implemented by the National Leader, the opportunities created for young people to acquire worldly knowledge and gain international experience have made a great contribution to the intellectual development of our country today. It was brought to attention that Heydar Aliyev's value to young people and their activities in the direction of turning them into leading forces of society have become the guarantee of the successful future of Azerbaijan. title="Zamin Aliyev profile">Zamin Aliyev made a speech and emphasized the exceptional role of Heydar Aliyev in the history of Azerbaijan. Zamin Aliyev drew special attention to the work done by Heydar Aliyev in the direction of strengthening the independence of our country and promoting it in the international arena. He added that learning Heydar Aliyev's heritage and conveying it to the younger generations is the main task of each of us.
