An event was held on the theme "The road to peace: Unity, solidarity and mutual understanding".

September 21 - within the framework of the International Day of Peace and Peace Month, an event was held on the theme "Ensuring international peace is a universal responsibility" by the Student Scientific Society of Nakhchivan State University.

The main purpose of the event is to draw attention to the essence of the International Day of Peace, to emphasize the importance of peace and solidarity for society, to promote the culture of peace and the values of mutual understanding among young people.

During the event, the chairman of the Student Scientific Society Yusif Mirzazadeh informed about September 21 - International Day of Peace, its history and international importance. In the speech, it was noted that peace is not only the absence of conflicts, but also an important social value formed on mutual respect, dialogue, cooperation and solidarity.  

It was stated that the participation of young people in promoting the values of peace and tolerance is important in terms of strengthening the environment of mutual understanding in the society. In this regard, the educational events held within the framework of the Peace Month serve to increase the awareness of young people about the topic and their active participation in public initiatives.

Within the framework of the event, the participants exchanged opinions on the topic, and expressed opinions on the role of young people in the direction of peace protection and promotion.
