An international certificate was presented to Nakhchivan State University by the British Council

Presentation of international certificates to those who have passed the IELTS exam at the event held on the occasion, the rector of the university Elbrus Isayev pointed out that the next exam was successfully completed at the IELTS registration and examination center operating at Nakhchivan State University for the first time in the educational space of the country.  Within effective cooperation with the British Council  IELTS has become popular in the central autonomous republic, and the dynamics of growth in the number of test takers can be felt. IELTS exams aimed at improving the professional skills of teachers and improving their language skills are carried out with full financial support for university employees. This allows the number of English-language majors in the university to increase even more. The rector noted that in the education of English-speaking personnel in the autonomous republic, the acquisition of the "Cambridge" status of the International School of NSU is the most important step for the increase of professional personnel in this field in the future. Elbrus Isayev congratulated those who achieved high results in the exam and wished success in their activities. It was stated that the British Council considers the work of the university in the successful organization of IELTS exams within the framework of cooperation to be commendable. The center has an important role in the implementation of English-language education. Speaking about the process of organizing the exams, Bayram Aliyev expressed gratitude for the conditions created.
