An open lesson on "Information Security and ISO 27001" was held at NSU
In the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering of Nakhchivan State Universityan open lesson on "Information security and ISO 27001 information security" was organized. The lesson was taught by Serdar Birogul, head of the chair of information technologies of the university, teacher of the chair of electronics and information technologies Huseyn Asgarli and associate professor of Duzce University of the Republic of Turkey, teacher of Nakhchivan State University. The lesson provided detailed information about global trends in the field of information security, modern risks and ways to manage them.
During his speech, Serdar Birogul brought to attention detailed information on how information security and management systems are formed based on practical examples of the application of the ISO 27001 standard. He emphasized that information security is not only a technical field, but a multidisciplinary scientific-research direction closely related to law, management and ethical principles. He talked about the steps he took to strengthen his base. It was stated that the promotion of scientific works in this field at the university and the involvement of students in local and international projects will stimulate the formation of highly qualified personnel in the future.>We would like to inform you that with the rapid development of digital technologies in the modern era, the issue of information security has become one of the most important areas in terms of strategic and scientific research on a global scale.
