"EcoFarm Innovation Hackathon" competition was organized at NSU
"EcoFarm Innovation Hackathon" was held at the Innovation Center of Nakhchivan State University. At the event, student teams presented their projects in the direction of innovative solutions to existing problems in the fields of agriculture, water resources, land and ecology.
Teams participating in the hackathon were evaluated in terms of problem understanding and environmental impact, innovation and creativity, technical approach and functionality, practical application and economic value, as well as presentation skills.
The jury assessed how well the projects correctly identified real and important problems related to agriculture, water, land and ecology and the effectiveness of the solutions presented to those problems. At the same time, the proposed solutions are based on an innovative approach, the application possibilities of technologies and concepts, real usability and functionality were among the main criteria. Presentation of the projects in a clear, realistic and structured manner was specially emphasized.
Mteams "Stevee", "WonderWoman", "Engineering Lady", "Grenova", "Pyramid", "SheTech" and "Technova AI" participated in the competition. NDU Biology Department Head Bayramov Bahruz, Sirab Financial Director Mirzaur Seyidzade, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Environmental Policy and Organizational Protocol Department Head Asgarov Tural, Innobyte Academy Director and Data Analytics Trainer, Nakhchivan Post and Telecommunication LLC employee Mehdiyev Seyfulla, IT specialist Babayev Rovshan, Village Sabuhi Hasanov, head of the Ministry of Agriculture's Seed circulation control, technical supply and agrochemical services organization sector, as a member of the jury, evaluated the students' projects. According to the results, the "Grenova" team was awarded the 1st place, the "Pyramid" team was awarded the 2nd place, and the "Stevee" team was awarded the 3rd place.
