Employees of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service held a meeting with students at Nakhchivan State University
Representatives of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service at Nakhchivan State University met with the university's students studying Economics and Law. Rector's adviser on economic issues Ülvi Bakhishlı greeted the participants of the event and said that in 2024 Nakhchivan State University, a number of events were held within the framework of the University-Industry cooperation, various public-private institutions on mutual cooperation memorandums were signed. These events aim to strengthen the joint activity of educational institutions and the industrial sector, to provide students with practical knowledge and to ensure their preparation for the labor market. He assessed continuous holding of meetings with representatives of AIBNDX and students of Nakhchivan State University as a useful step for both institutions. For this purpose, he pointed out that the employees of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized lectures for students studying in the relevant specialties of the Faculty of Economics and Management and International Relations and Law. The topics of the lecture included information about antimonopoly legislation, consumer rights and the competition code and a number of other important issues of interest to the audience.
During the meeting Yusif Tapdigli, Head of the Consumer Market Control Chair of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service, gave information about the control areas of the AIBNDX in the consumer market and the expectations in this area, and emphasized the importance of effective regulation of the market and protection of consumer rights. He also drew attention to the measures taken within the framework of legislation to prevent unfair competition and a number of real facts.
During the speeches, students' questions were answered and the meeting was held in an interactive discussion format.
