"German Day for schools and universities in Nakhchivan" was held at the International School of Nakhchivan State University

Employees of the German Academic Exchange Service, the German Language Teaching Center of Azerbaijan and the Goethe Institute, which is engaged in the international exchange of students and scientists and is considered the world's largest scholarship organization in this field, received training at Nakhchivan State University.

On this occasion, speaking about the international relations and cooperation relations of the higher education institution, the Rector's adviser on strategic issues Rajab Jafarli expressed his satisfaction to see the guests at the university. expressed confidence that the trainings will be effective.

During their presentations, Lisa Brandt, lecturer at ASU and Claudio Kasperl, lecturer at AzTU, said that the main activity of the German Academic Exchange Service is the scientific exchange of students and employees. It is the support of Germany's academic relations with foreign countries. It was stated that DAAD is interested in cooperation with higher education institutions located in the regions. In previous projects, preference was given only to students studying in the German language, but today English-language educational programs are also included in the project. The DAAD and the Goethe Institute offer scholarship programs that organize seminars and summer camps on various topics for students and teachers throughout the year.

        Later, Florian Tack, an employee of the Goethe Institute, Zahra Aliyeva, head of the German Language Teaching Center of Azerbaijan, and the center's employees Aysel Amiraslanova, Arzu Huseynova and Gunel Aliyeva conducted trainings for students and teachers. Topics such as education in Germany and specialist training were discussed with the teachers.
