Ilham Tumas' book "Hidden Crimes" was presented at NSU

On June 10, the presentation ceremony of the book "Hidden Crimes" by Ilham Tumas, a well-known journalist, screenwriter, director, veteran of the First Karabakh War, participant in the Homeland War, was held at the Scientific Library of Nakhchivan State University.

Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev, Chairman of "Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Television and Radio Broadcasting" Closed Joint Stock Company Sahil Tahirli and  the university's teaching staff as well as students took part in the event.

Rector Elbrus Isayev called the book "Hidden Crimes" not only a literary work, but also an important source in terms of conveying historical truths to the public. He said that the author's ability to observe, analyze and create is the key to creating such a responsible book. The Rector added that it is important to have works based on historical facts in scientific libraries. It is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev and was written on the basis of confidential archive materials of the State Security Service. The documents and photos in the book are presented to readers for the first time. doctor of sciences, associate professor Emin Shikhaliyev, Sevinc Abbasova, associate professor of the "History of Azerbaijan" department and senior lecturer of the "General law" department Yunis Khalilov expressed their opinion about the author's successful work and book. It was noted that the work "Secret Crimes" consists of 9 main topics and these topics cover state security, espionage, national struggle and other important issues.
