Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev met with Hungarian world-famous writer and statesman Sandor Lejak . The Ambassador of Hungary to our country Tamas Yojef Torma, the administration and staff of John von Neumann University, the management team of NSU participated in the meeting. Rector Elbrus Isayev expressed his satisfaction with the meeting,>andor Lejakin earlier said that his visit to our country was memorable and remembered with respect. Today, he called his visit to Nakhchivan State University, which is an integral part of our country, in ancient Nakhchivan, a very important and remarkable meeting. It was emphasized that Azerbaijan and Hungary are friendly countries and mutual relations are continuously developing in all directions. There are also cooperations in the field of education, and NDU is also a shareholder in this framework. The rector noted that the university trains highly qualified specialists in 250 programs in four directions, it is a higher education institution with a modern-type and multi-profile education system with 10 faculties, 3 colleges, 3 scientific research institutes, an observatory, the International Cambridge School and the English Language Oriented Gymnasium under NSU. Elbrus Isayev recalled the signing ceremony of the double diploma agreement between John von Neumann University of Hungary and NDU last year on the bachelor's degree in computer engineering, taught in English, with the initiative and support of the chairman of the board of trustees of John von Neumann University, Sandor Lejak. He spoke about the effectiveness of those meetings and emphasized that this year, students will be accepted for the mentioned specialty. Drawing attention to the cooperation between the two universities, the rector noted that teachers will be sent in the future, and as relations develop, new areas of cooperation will be created, and joint activities will expand. the chairman of the board of trustees, the world-famous writer Sandor Lejak welcomed the meeting and gave information about the delegation. He said that the establishment of cooperative relations between John von Neumann University of Hungary and NDU is beneficial for both parties. He emphasized the importance of students from Hungary coming to NSU and participating in short-term educational programs and getting to know Azerbaijani culture. At the same time, he proposed to create opportunities for teachers and students of NSU to study in Hungary. In his speech, Sandor Lejak also talked about the field of sports, he talked about the activities to be carried out in the direction of promotion of tagball, which is the national game of Hungary, in Nakhchivan. Sandor Lejak also shared his proposals regarding the expansion of teacher-student exchange and the introduction of dual diploma programs. He said that these programs will allow students to obtain the diploma of both Hungary and Nakhchivan State University. Rector Elbrus Isayev presented Sandor Lejak with a picture of his portrait painted by university artists with oil on an apricot tree and gifts to the delegation.
