NSU held a poetry competition called "Great Leader's Summit of Independence".

On May 5 and 8 at Nakhchivan State University, a poetry competition called "Great Leader's Summit of Independence" was organized within the "Great Leader's Memorial Week" dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. The event was organized by the Student Scientific Society at the Faculty of History and Philology.

The competition was announced by Arif Agalarov, the dean of the Faculty of History and Philology, followed by NDU TEC Chairman Yusif Mirzazade, who spoke about the purpose and importance of the event.

More than 10 students took part in the competition. Poems on the theme of Motherland, independence and the Great Leader were sung. Students were evaluated by a jury.
