NSU Students Participate in Open Surgical Operations in Romania

   Students of the Faculty of Medicine, which is a member of EMSA (European Medical Students Organization) of Nakhchivan State University, studying in the specialty "Treatment Work" visited the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, as part of the international exchange program. On March 22-29, students participated in the Practical Anatomy Class at the UMFCD University, orthopedic operations at the Teaching Hospital. They also took part in general surgical operations and made observations, participated in laparoscopy simulation and received training. Students also took part in cultural and social programs and excursions in Bucharest.

          We would like to inform you that according to the exchange program, 11 students from Bucharest are expected to come to Nakhchivan State University on May 6-13, 2025.

          It should be noted that through cooperation agreements and exchange programs of Nakhchivan State University with local and foreign universities, teachers and students are ensured to continue their education and activities for a period of time, experience and take classes in foreign universities. Here, the main goal is to teach students more qualitative and innovative approaches to education, to create opportunities for them to become better specialists using the programs of other universities. On this basis, the exchange program offers great opportunities to students.
