"Quality education - Modern challenges" forum was held at Nakhchivan State University

Before the forum, the dear memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a 1-minute silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

A forum on "Quality education - Modern challenges" was held at Nakhchivan State University under the organization of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education. The forum was attended by Tural Ahmadov, the Chairman of the Board of TKTA, heads and employees of the Agency's structural department, as well as more than 300 academic and administrative staff of Nakhchivan State University, media representatives. providing useful information, supporting the formation of the internal quality assurance system, as well as the efficient organization of the work of the quality assurance structure in institutions and the establishment of education based on student-oriented principles. It was noted that the strengthening of scientific potential and the training of personnel suitable for the labor market are among the main priorities of the university. The rector said that students studying in various specialties at the university do internships in local management and administrative institutions in order to familiarize themselves with the real work environment, thereby acquiring knowledge and skills in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. The Rector also noted that more than 2,000 vacancies were announced within the framework of the career fair held at the university this year, and serious achievements were made in providing employment to graduates.

Chairman of the Management Board of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education Tural Ahmadov brought to the attention of the event participants the important points related to the modern challenges of the higher education system. It was noted that for the development of the education system, it is necessary to carry out reforms in accordance with the requirements of the modern era. He emphasized the importance of adapting higher education institutions to international standards, as well as creating quality educational opportunities for students. Tural Ahmadov said that the application of innovative approaches in higher education, personnel training in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, as well as the strengthening of scientific research activities in universities are priority issues. and Elchin Jafarov, head of methodology department, "Modern challenges in education", Elnur Khalilov, head of qualification recognition department, "How is recognition of qualifications implemented?"

In the second part of the event, practical trainings were organized by colleagues of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education on the topics of "Student-oriented approach and effective training results" and "Formation of quality culture in ATM through informed decision-making".

At the end of the event, numerous questions of the participants about the requirements and application mechanism of the tools for evaluating the efficiency of the internal quality assurance system of educational institutions were answered, and at the same time, the university employees who participated in the trainings on "Evaluation criteria for the institutional accreditation of the higher education institution" organized by TKTA were awarded with certificates and a commemorative photo was taken.
