Review of Great Leader's legacy with Mahira Nagygizi at NSU

Doc. of Philology, professor Mahira Naghigizy's speech was heard within the framework of the event dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev at Nakhchivan State University. The university's teaching staff and students participated in the event.

Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology, Associate Professor Arif Agalarov, who opened the event with an introductory speech, spoke about the contributions of Professor Mahira Nagygiz to the scientific and pedagogical environment of the university and expressed his gratitude. He pointed out that the scientist's services to Azerbaijani science and education are an example for the younger generation.

Professor Mahira Nagygizi spoke about the historical services of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to the people of Azerbaijan and statehood. He said that the ideas of statehood laid by the National Leader form the basis of our country's development strategy even today. He emphasized that genius Heydar Aliyev valued our mother tongue not only as a means of communication, but as the basis of our national identity, spirituality and culture. He noted that on the initiative of the National Leader, the Azerbaijani language was established as the state language at the level of the Constitution, which is an important stage in our history.
