Section meeting of the III International scientific conference on "From inclusive education to inclusive society: equal opportunities and sustainable development" was held at NSU
On May 20, at Nakhchivan State University, a section meeting of the III International scientific conference on the theme "From inclusive education to inclusive society: equal opportunities and sustainable development" was held on April 10-11 in Baku under the organization of Baku Slavic University. The session of the conference was held in partnership with the Nakhchivan State University and the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Three sessions on the topics "Organization of inclusive education: identification of needs", "Professional teacher - sustainable society: ways of transformation" and "Cooperation with various stakeholders: the main pillar of inclusion" section meeting covering the direction was moderated by the director of the Master and Doctorate Center of NSU Chapay Guliyev and the dean of the Faculty of Education of Baku Slavic University Sevinj Akhundova. Current issues of inclusive education were discussed at the section meeting, the importance of scientific cooperation and exchange of experience in this field was emphasized. It was reported that the section meeting held within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between Baku Slavic University and Nakhchivan State University is very important. At the same time, the implementation of future joint projects between the two higher education institutions, the expansion of research, and the development of student-teacher mobility are also important. employee, doctor of philosophy in pedagogy, associate professor Nazakat Yusifova "Problems in the implementation of inclusive education in Azerbaijan", Gultekin Rustamli, sector manager of the Ministry of Education of Nakhchivan Republic, "Inclusive education in Nakhchivan Republic: current situation and reform" made a speech on "directions". The speakers talked about the importance of emotional intelligence, normative frameworks and material and technical possibilities in the organization of inclusive education.
In the second section, Arzu Mammadova, employee of BSU, doctor of philosophy in philology, professional development of teachers within the project "From inclusive education to inclusive society", Nakhchivan and the director of the secondary school No. 8, Gunay Novruzova, presented a report on "Organization of work with students in inclusive classes". Speakers emphasized the importance of professional development of teachers in inclusive education and the application of an individual approach in inclusive classes.
In the third section, PhD in Philology, associate professor Sevinc Akhundova, employee of BSU, "The role of cooperation in the development of inclusive education", employee of NSU, Ph.D. in pedagogy Solmaz Jabbarova "Organization of inclusive training in preschool education", psychologist Vafa Gasimova of the full secondary school named after Heydar Aliyev spoke on the topic "The function of a psychologist in multidisciplinary teamwork in an inclusive school". Dilara Yusifova, a parent, also spoke with her suggestions on the topic. In the discussions, it was stated that cooperation between school, family and society plays a special role in the development of inclusive education. At the end of the event, certificates were presented to the section participants.
