The 1st Republican Scientific Conference on "Inclusive education: achievements and future tasks" was held at NSU

The First Republican Scientific Conference dedicated to the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty" was held at Nakhchivan State University on the topic "Inclusive education: achievements and future tasks". The conference was held at the International School of Nakhchivan State University.

The conference covering March 4-5 was jointly organized by Nakhchivan State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Baku Slavic University and Khazar University, with the participation of the Ministry of Education of Nakhchivan MR and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Nakhchivan MR. Teachers of Lankaran, Ganja, Sumgayit State Universities, secondary school teachers from different regions of the country, psychologists of autonomous republic secondary schools and other invitees participated.

First the National Anthem was played.

Then there was the presentation of the "Faith in the Future" project prepared by Latifa Guliyeva, a teacher of Children's Music School No. 4, Nakhchivan city, with the participation of children with disabilities.

Rector of Nakhchivan State University, Elbrus Isayev, announced the conference open with his introduction, saying that the purpose of the conference is to discuss the research conducted on the involvement of children with various mental and physical disabilities in a wide range of educational activities, and to evaluate proposals for solving the problem.

The event continued with the speeches of the Minister of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elkhan Najafov, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Farid Bagyrzade, acting minister, Vice-Rector of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University Asef Zamanov, Head of the Pedagogy and Psychology Chair of Baku Slavic University Pirali Aliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences of Khazar University Aygun Verdiyeva.

The speakers talked about the involvement of children with special needs in education, the creation of a legal basis for their quality education, the real situation in the application of inclusive education, current problems and the integration of international experience into the country's education. They said that inclusive education is already an integral part of education in our country.

Later, the panel sessions of the conference started at the NSU Master and Doctorate center.

The conference was held yesterday and today in 3 halls and continues with sectional sessions in 16 panels. Up to 140 scientific presentations presented by more than 150 researchers are discussed.

Inclusive Education Center of Nakhchivan State University was opened as part of the 1st Republican Scientific Conference on "Inclusive Education: Achievements and Future Tasks". Director of the center Taleh Khalilov informed the guests about the center and equipment.
