The Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan was celebrated on June 26 at Nakhchivan State University

        An event was held at the Faculty of Pedagogy of NSU on June 26 - the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the event, the unforgettable memory of our martyrs who died for the liberation of our lands from enemy occupation was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Rafig Rahimov, vice-chancellor of the university for education and training. congratulated the event participants on the occasion of Armed Forces Day and emphasized that June 26 was declared Armed Forces Day by the Decree signed by great leader Heydar Aliyev on May 22, 1998. The vice-rector spoke about the 44-day Patriotic War. It was noted that the determination of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev and the glorious struggle of our army marked 2020 as a year of victory in our history. It was emphasized that today the process of building the Azerbaijan Armed Forces continues and our army is experiencing a period of development and improvement.
