The examination session of the summer semester has started at Nakhchivan State University

From June 2, the examination session of the summer semester of the 2024/2025 academic year has started at Nakhchivan State University. The organization and conduct of the exams is carried out based on the order of the rector of the university, Elbrus Isayev.

From the first days of the session, the rector Elbrus Isayev watched the progress of the exams on the spot, talked with the students and wished them success. He also listened to the opinions of the students regarding the applied examination mechanisms.

It should be noted that in this session, a total of 9320 students are taking exams for 80 specializations at the bachelor's level and 51 specializations at the master's level. The exams cover 2868 subjects. 2197 of them are written, 343 are oral and practical, and 326 are conducted by electronic test method. Basically, the exams are organized in two rounds and the sequence is determined according to the students' choice.

Let's emphasize that the students' exam schedules are presented through the "E-table" mobile application. Also, the exam questions have been placed in private cabinets on the LMS platform since the beginning of the semester. The tests of electronic tests have already been activated in the system until the end of May 2025 and have been made available to students. An additional exam opportunity will be created at the beginning of July 2025 for students who have incurred academic debt during the session. It will cover only two subjects.

We should also inform that the members of the Examination Commission operating in various faculties of the university and about 100 supervisors take part in conducting the exams. All exam halls are equipped with necessary equipment and surveillance cameras.

In order to ensure the transparency and efficiency of the session, the Examination Headquarters and the Appeals Commission, consisting of 9 people, operate in the university. The Appeals Commission promptly investigates incoming appeals and all processes are conducted fully electronically.

Please note that the summer exam session will last five weeks.
