The jubilee of the staff of the Faculty of Medicine was celebrated at NSU

Deputy dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Nakhchivan State University, doctor of biological sciences, associate professor Anvar Ibrahimov and head of the "Stomatology" department, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine Rauf Jafarov's 60th anniversary An event dedicated to their anniversaries was held.

Rector of the university, Elbrus Isayev, who opened the event with an introductory speech, noted that the anniversaries are effectively active in the scientific and pedagogical life of the university. He said that both of our employees have been playing an active role in the development of science and education by making important contributions to the training of young specialists at the university for many years. The rector congratulated the jubilarians on the occasion of their 60th anniversaryby wishing them success in their future activities and presented the honorary decree of Nakhchivan State University.

Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Shafiga Süleymanova spoke about Rauf Jafarov's scientific and pedagogical activities. It is noted that doctor of philosophy in medicine, honored teacher Rauf Jafarov was also awarded the "Progress" medal by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2019.

"Pharmacy" and biochemistry" department head Sura Rahimova spoke about Anvar Ibrahimov's life path, scientific researches and pedagogical activities at the university.

Vice Chancellor for Science and Innovations Elsever Asadov in his speech, he specially mentioned the contributions they made to the formation of the scientific environment in both jubilee universities and the development of students as qualified staff. Gultekin Aliyeva, head of the chair, Isa Abdullayev, professor of that department, doctor of medical sciences, and other speakers highly appreciated the activities of the jubilee students in the field of science and education, and spoke about their rich pedagogical experience.

Then a slide showing the life and activities of the employees whose jubilee was celebrated was shown, and various gifts were presented to them.
