The Khojaly Genocide was commemorated at NSU

A commemorative event was held at Nakhchivan State University on February 26 - the 34th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

There was also a viewing of the art exhibition of the teachers and students of the Faculty of Arts depicting the tragedy of Khojaly and the Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War. His dear memory was commemorated with a minute of silence and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. He stated that Khojali tragedy received its true legal and political value only after the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to political power in 1993. He spoke about the causes and consequences of the tragedy. class="p1">In the artistic part of the event, concertmaster Ali Hasanov of the "Orchestral instruments and conducting" chair of the Faculty of Arts and the "Belcanto" vocal group performed various musical numbers.
