The presentation of the book "Musicology: periods and horizons of its development" was held at NSU

In the Scientific Library of Nakhchivan State University, the presentation ceremony of the book "Musicology: periods and horizons of its development" by Gunay Mammadova, associate professor of the "History and Theory of Music" chair of the university, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Studies, was held.

The scientific secretary of the university, Orkhan Jafarov, who opened the event with an introductory speech, talked about the high attention and care given to music art at the university. In his speech, he emphasized that the presented publication reflected the formation of new trends against the background of developments in the art of music. It is said that the book is intended for both professional musicians and readers interested in the history of music.

Dean of the Faculty of Arts of the University, Honored artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, docent Javid Ismayilov in his speech highly appreciated the scientific and creative activity of the author in the field of music.
