The presentation of the newly created "Ancient Folk Musical Instruments" Ensemble was held at Nakhchivan State University

There was a concert of "Ancient Folk Instruments" Ensemble at the Faculty of Arts of Nakhchivan State University. 

The ancient folk instruments were displayed. About 25 other instruments including wind instruments, tar, rud, barbet, Oguz gopuz, Nakhchivan tanbur, chagana, rubab, chang, oud, qanun were presented to the concert participants. After that, the exhibition "Description of ancient musical instruments in artistic works" was viewed.  

The concert was attended by Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev, the management team of the university, teachers and students, and the collective of the Music College operating under the university. Various music and dance numbers presented by teachers and students of Nakhchivan State University and College of Music were welcomed by the audience with great interest and applause. Musical compositions such as "Shushtar color", "Nakhchivan", "Cherry flower", "Yellow bride", "Gilenar", "Carry the floods to Sarah", "Rhyme with flowers" created a pleasant atmosphere. It should be noted that the artistic director and creator of the ensemble, concertmaster, tarzan, teacher of the Music College is Fatali Akhundzade. He emphasized that the University's Art Faculty and Music College play an important role in the cultural life of the autonomous republic. He talked about the contribution of the concerts to the artistic traditions of the university, and drew attention to the successful performances of the ensembles and orchestras of the higher educational institution, which took place in the capital and outside the country. The rector said that the repair and presentation of forgotten ancient musical instruments is an example for the younger generation. Elbrus Isayev congratulated the team and wished them new achievements.
