The students of the 9th grade of the English-oriented gymnasium under the Nakhchivan State University showed the highest result in the autonomous republic in the final exam.

Certificates of distinction were presented to the students of the English-oriented Gymnasium under the Nakhchivan State University who achieved high results in the final exams at the general secondary level. In the 2023-2024 academic year, 159 students studied at the gymnasium. A total of 60 students took part in the final exams conducted by the State Examination Center, 52 of them scored high results in the range of 220-300. It was reported that according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, students who scored 75 points in each of 3 subjects, including Azerbaijani language, Mathematics and English, were awarded certificates of distinction. As a result of all this, the students of the gymnasium achieved the highest results in the final exams of the 9th grades held this year and took the first place in the autonomous republic. Thus, 30 students who made up 50% of the total score, showed a successful result and received a certificate of distinction on general secondary education. It was noted that in the 2022-2023 academic year, this number was 11 people, i.e. 33% . The Rector pointed out that the International School of Nakhchivan State University receiving the Cambridge School status will play a key role in the training of English-speaking personnel.
