A meeting with parents was held at the English-oriented Gymnasium

A meeting was held with the parents of students admitted to the English-oriented Gymnasium at Nakhchivan State University.  

At the event, the rector of the university Elbrus Isayev, approved by President Ilham Aliyev, the Cambridge School and Gymnasium established under the "State Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" covering the years 2023-2027 mentioned its importance. Talking about the prospects of the gymnasium, the rector touched on the opportunities that the students will have. It was noted that in parallel with the countries of the world, innovations will be applied here, and students will benefit from the experience of experts invited from abroad. It was emphasized that the Cambridge experience will also be applied in the gymnasium where training will be conducted for 2 programs. Elbrus Isayev congratulated the parents and expressed his confidence that relations with the gymnasium will be properly established in the formation of their children as educated students.  

The director of the English-oriented Gymnasium Nazim Rahimov pointed out that 233 students participated 60 students, 30 girls and 30 boys, won the right to study in the gymnasium. It was reported that during the diagnostic evaluation, teachers who show high results are organized to teach in Cambridge school and gymnasium.  

At the meeting, parents were given detailed information about school hours, uniforms, disciplinary rules, dormitory and nutrition of students for the 2024-2025 academic year. It was noted that teaching in the gymnasium is planned to be conducted in two shifts. In addition, the participants of the meeting were informed about the organization of sports, movies and reading hours in the library in order to effectively organize the leisure time of the students. It was noted that during sports, students will be able to use different types of sports such as football, basketball, tennis and outdoor sports facilities.

At the end, the parents got to know the classrooms, laboratories, canteen, dormitory and conditions created for students and their questions were answered.
