A cooperation agreement was signed between Nakhchivan State University and Marmara University

On February 11, a cooperation agreement was signed between Nakhchivan State University (NDU) and Turkey's Marmara University. The document was signed by Elbrus Isayev, rector of NSU, and Mehmet Emin Okur, rector of Marmara University.

The main purpose of the agreement is to increase mutual interest in the educational and research activities of both higher education institutions, to expand cooperation in the direction of developing joint scientific projects and initiatives, as well as to implement the exchange of teachers, students and administrative staff.

According to the document, it is envisaged to organize joint conferences with various research centers, including the Institute of Turkish Studies of Marmara University, and conduct joint scientific research. At the same time, it is planned to carry out more teaching and research activities in the field of social sciences within the framework of cooperation with NSU. The university has a strong academic base, especially in medicine, engineering, law, economics, international relations and pedagogical specialties. Marmara University is considered one of the leading higher education institutions of the region with its extensive research infrastructure, international cooperation network and multifaceted teaching opportunities. At the same time, students of the Faculty of Medicine of NSU will have the opportunity to do an internship at Marmara University. The professors of Marmara University will provide scientific guidance to the master's and doctoral students of NSU.

This cooperation will make an important contribution to strengthening the research potential of both higher education institutions, expanding the exchange of experience and deepening international academic integration.
