A webinar on "Regional climate changes in Azerbaijan and its impact on river water resources" was held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture of Nakhchivan State University. Rza Mahmudov, professor of the Faculty of Geography of Baku State University, doctor of geographical sciences, as well as teachers and students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture of NSU participated in the event. 14.0pt">Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture Bahruz Mammadov noting the relevance of the topic, the impact of climate changes on the natural resources of our country, especially river water resources expressed his opinion about it. The dean emphasized that such events are useful for increasing the knowledge level of students and for scientific discussions. He gave important information about the reduction of water resources, the destruction of ecosystems and the socio-economic effects of climate change. The professor justified the difficulties caused by climate change in different regions with scientific statistical data and talked about the measures that can be implemented in order to solve these problems.
