In Nakhchivan State University, organized by representatives of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, an open Info-session was held for the science and higher education community.
On February 25, an Info-session open to the science and higher education community of Nakhchivan MR was held at Nakhchivan State University. The event was organized by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education with the cooperation of NSU. In the info session in addition to the management staff, professors and students of the university, Nakhchivan Teachers Institute, ARETN Institute of Bioresources, Institute of Natural Resources and Astrophysics Observatory participated.
Representatives of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education participants about the internationalization of science and higher education and opportunities for international cooperation, the development of research skills using the artificial intelligence tool of Scopus informed.
Niftali Gasimli, Head of the Education Abroad Sector of the Agency's International Cooperation Department, made a presentation on "Organization of International Cooperation Activities". He gave detailed information on participation in international rankings, opportunities and directions of international cooperation of NSU, opportunities to study abroad under the state line (HTP) for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, educational opportunities for international students in Azerbaijan ("Education Grant named after Heydar Aliyev", HTP, OIC, NAM, etc.) and work with international students, international exchange programs and other topics.
Narmina Abullayeva, senior consultant of the agency's chair of work with scientific institutions, made a presentation on "Development of research skills with Scopus AI". It covered comprehensive literature and journal search strategies using SCOPUS effectively, analysis of research trends, citations and research impacts, saving research time by optimizing workflow by effectively using Scopus' artificial intelligence tool for scientific research, and other sections.
At the end, questions of interest to the participants of the event were voiced, and the meeting continued in the form of a discussion.
