Novruz Festival was held at Nakhchivan State University

The Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev, management staff, employees, representatives of subordinate institutions operating under the university, teachers and students took part in the celebration organized on the occasion of Novruz holiday at the higher educational institution. He noted that the celebration of the holiday at the state level in our country is connected with the name of National leader Heydar Aliyev. Stating that Novruz is a holiday of unity and brotherhood, the rector pointed out that Novruz was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO on September 30, 2009.

Then the Novruz bonfire was lit and everyone circled around the bonfire and danced to "Tanzara Yallis".

The celebration attracted attention with numerous colorful and traditional Nowruz presentations. The performances of the "Youth Instrumental Ensemble" of the Chair of Folk Instruments, Samir Ismayilov, the President's laureate, as well as the Saz group of the Nakhchivan Music College were greeted with applause. The Kosa and Bald play, the dance group of Nakhchivan Music College and the performances of "Yalli and Dance Ensemble of the Student Theater Studio" created a pleasant atmosphere. "Yallisı" reflected beautiful examples of folk culture.
