The trainings for the students of Nakhchivan State University on the topic "Audit in the public sector" have been completed

An event was held at Nakhchivan State University within the framework of the visit of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vugar Gulmammadov.

The event was attended by the delegation led by Metin Yener, chairman of the Court of Accounts of Turkey, committee chairmen of the Milli Mejlis Azer Amiraslanov and Sadiq Gurbanov, rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev, as well as the Chamber of Accounts and other employees of the university.

Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber, who spoke at the meeting, gave detailed information about cooperation relations with Nakhchivan State University. He spoke about the trainings on "audit in the public sector" within the framework of this cooperation, and emphasized their importance in terms of strengthening state financial control and improving personnel training. Vugar Gulmammadov said that one of the goals of the Chamber is to train students who have shown high activity in the training as professional staff in the future. At the same time, he wished the students success in their scientific activities and future careers.

Nakhchivan State Rector of Elbrus University Speaking, Isayev called the event an important and long-awaited significant meeting and emphasized that cooperation with the Accounting Chamber is of great importance for the University. Elbrus Isayev noted that the training programs contribute to increasing the professional knowledge and skills of students. Rector as well as university's undergraduate and graduate studies accounting and auditing, involvement of students from this profile the training program meeting the personnel needs of the autonomous republicnprocess background: white">what a positive initiative.

During the event, a general presentation on the main directions and results of the training program on "Public Sector Audit" was also shown. The presentation provided extensive information about the purpose of the training, the structure of the program and the topics covered. It was reported that 22 students of the University participated in the three-month training and their results were evaluated. The evaluation process was carried out in several stages, at the initial stage a test, then a written exam, and then interviews were organized. Letters of thanks, plaques and gifts were presented to the representatives of the Accounting Chamber. 

Finally, certificates corresponding to the results were presented to the students who successfully completed the training program. The event continued with a concert program performed by the Chamber Orchestra of the Conservatory of Nakhchivan State University. It was implemented within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2025.
