"CYBER THREAT INVESTIGATION & DIGITAL INTELLIGENCE" BOOTCAMP NAKHCHIVAN - 2026 took place at the Innovation Center of Nakhchivan State University.

Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev spoke about the importance of digitalization and information security in the modern era.

The rector stated that the newly opened "Information Security" specialty in the university plays an important role in terms of the development of this field, and at the same time, strengthening staff training in the direction of digital transformation and cyber security, conducting educational training stressed its importance.

Nakhchivan Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Acting Minister Azer Mammadrahimov and Head of IRIA Information Security Department Shahmar Hajiyahyayev spoke about the strategic importance of cyber security in the modern era. It was stated that in addition to the continuous development of digital systems, it is equally important to ensure the security of these systems.

I-year student of "Computer Engineering" (taught in English) Jamila Babayeva, speaking on behalf of the students, noted that conducting such trainings will help the development of knowledge and skills of young people.

After the speeches, a two-stage practical training program was launched. In the first phase of the training, tasks were performed based on a cybercrime scenario simulating real life. At this stage, the detection and interpretation of digital traces, the analysis of user behavior and tracing mechanisms, the collection of data from open sources and structured analysis approaches were applied.

At the second stage, practical research was conducted on teams. Based on the given information, identification of persons and activities was carried out, relationships and structures were analyzed. At the same time, "flag-based" tasks were performed and a competitive environment was created between the teams.

At the end of the training, the results obtained were presented, analytical approaches were discussed, and opinions were exchanged on ways of professional development in the field of cyber security.

At the end, certificates were presented to the training participants.
