The presentation of the monograph "History, structure and typology of English-language dictionaries" was held at NSU

         In the Scientific Library of Nakhchivan State University, there was a presentation of the monograph "History, structure and typology of English-language dictionaries" by Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ph.D. in Philology Yasin Babazade. Orkhan Jafarov, the scientific secretary of the opening university, congratulated the author on his success and wished him to continue his scientific activity.

Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ph.D. Mammadova, associate professor of the "Azerbaijani Linguistics" department, doctor of philology Galiba Hajiyeva and translator of the Translation Center, doctor of philology Susanbar Agamaliyeva shared their views on the monograph. It is noted that the book, which consists of three chapters, covers important topics such as the history of the development of English lexicography, the structure, typology and classification parameters of English dictionaries. It was stated that lexicography is based on the general theories of the field of linguistics. Examples of electronic dictionaries were also presented in the publication.

Other speakers also congratulated the author and emphasized the importance of the monograph for the scientific community. It was noted that the monograph is a valuable research work reflecting the scientific approach to the actual problems of English lexicography. This publication will play the role of an important scientific source for future researchers.
