The jubilee event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the late linguist Elbeyi Magsudov was held at NSU

A jubilee event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Honored Teacher of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Sciences in Pedagogy, Professor Elbeyi Magsudov was organized at Nakhchivan State University. was remembered with respect, flowers were placed on his grave.

Before the event, there was a viewing of the exhibition of the professor's scientific activities.

Nakhchivan State University Rector Elbrus Isayev In his speech, Elbeyi Magsudov has been performing effective scientific and pedagogical activities at the university for many years. He said that the deceased scientist played an important role in the formation of a healthy scientific environment at NSU and in the training of young specialists.

Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty, doctor of philosophy in pedagogy, associate professor Vali Aliyev and associate professor of the "Azerbaijani Literature" department, philology Ph.D. Khanali Karimli spoke about the scientist's meaningful life path, scientific-pedagogical activity and the scientific environment formed at the university. It was mentioned in the speeches that the professor, who worked as the head of the "Methodology of Subjects" department, was awarded the honorary title of "Scientist of the Year" in 2007 for his significant achievements in his scientific activity. It was noted that the teacher's book "Poetic-practical Azerbaijani language" is an indispensable resource for schoolchildren, applicants and teachers as the first fundamental work written in poetic language in terms of the application of the state language.

It was emphasized that the rich scientific heritage and dear memory of Elbeyi Magsudov, known as an outstanding linguist, methodist and pedagogue-poet, will always live in the hearts of those who know and love him.
