The final conference on the TEC line was held at NSU

Nakhchivan State University held the "Final Conference of the scientific-research works carried out by the Student Scientific Society in the academic year 2025-2026". The conference held within the framework of the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture" and the "Great Leader's Memorial Week" was organized by the Student Scientific Society of the university and took place in the Gymnasium under NSU.

First, the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

Rector of the university, Elbrus Isayev, who opened the conference with an introductory speech, said that the involvement of students in scientific activities is one of the main priorities of the university. The rector noted that the university has created wide opportunities for students to reveal their scientific potential, and their participation in local and international scientific conferences, projects and academic programs is constantly supported. It was reported that in the current academic year, 1775 students completed 1771 research projects. It was noted that in the last 9 years, the number of students engaged in scientific activity has increased approximately 5 times. About 5 percent of the students engaged in scientific research are foreign students.

It was also emphasized that the evaluations at the university level were conducted by the Academic Performance Evaluation Commission based on new criteria.

Then Fariz Mammadov, a teacher of the "Clinical Sciences and Military Medicine" department, on behalf of the leaders, Huseyn Tahirov, the chairman of the Student Scientific Society of the Gymnasium under NSU, spoke about the work done in the gymnasium to increase the interest of students in science and to direct them to scientific activities from an early age.

In the end, the performance of the university's "Belcanto" Choir was performed by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev's favorite songs. Afterwards, plaques and certificates were presented to the participants.
