There was a cooperation meeting between NSU Scientific Library and ANAS Central Scientific Library

An online cooperation meeting was held between the Scientific Library of Nakhchivan State University and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The meeting was attended by the director of the Scientific Library of NSU, employees, as well as the management of the Central Scientific Library of ANAS - director, deputy directors, department heads and scientific secretary.

Discussion of opportunities for close cooperation and partnership between both institutions took place at the meeting.

Director of NDU Scientific Library Khumar Mammadova informed about the establishment and activity of the library. He said that there are three private funds in the library, and among these funds is the personal fund of ANAS President Isa Habibbeyli. Speaking about the official website lib.ndu.edu.az, the director emphasized that there is access to a wide database of books in Azerbaijani and foreign languages. He also mentioned that 47 student volunteers are working in the library and that they are implementing various new projects. He said that among these projects, the placement of the students' books in audio format on the site has a special place. Within the framework of online cooperation, Khumar Mammadova proposed to send the publications of ANAS and the works of real and corresponding members of the academy to the Scientific Library of NSU, to provide access to the electronic database and to carry out book exchange. spoke.
