A conference on the 100th anniversary of Nakhchivan State Technical College was held at NSU

A conference called "In the light of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev: 100-year development path of Nakhchivan State Technical College" was held at Nakhchivan State Technical College under Nakhchivan State University.

Before the event, there was a viewing of the exhibition of handicrafts of the students of the college. More than 20 artworks and STEAM projects prepared by students were displayed at the exhibition. >The director of the college Asef Rushanov, who delivered the opening speech, talked about the essence of the conference, the way of development and current activities of the college. It was emphasized that although the Technical College, which was founded in 1925, began its century-long development with 41 students, today hundreds of personnel in various specialties are being trained here. The knowledge and skills of young people who receive sub-baccalaureate education in technical specialties are adapted to the requirements of the labor market, the graduates of the college are successfully working in various fields of our country. Noting that the college is one of the important educational institutions, Asaf Rushanov expressed that the past historical development path is not only a single institution, but also a part of the scientific and technical development history of Azerbaijan. highly valued and drew attention to the importance of being given to the university. It was reported that this decision strengthened the integration of all levels of education and further enriched the scientific-administrative structure of the higher education institution. The vice-rector also spoke about the activity of scientific institutions such as the Institute of Natural Resources, the Institute of Bioresources and the Batabat Astrophysics Observatory, which were subordinated to Nakhchivan State University by the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. He noted that the inclusion of these institutions in the university structure will enable the expansion of scientific cooperation. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Technical College, Elsever Asadov congratulated the management, teachers and students of the college and wished them success in their future activities.

Later, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture Bahruz Mammadov, head of the Nakhchivan military college under the National Defense University, lieutenant colonel Yashar Huseynov, deputy director of Guba State Socio-Economic College Rovshan Mammadov spoke. At the same time  other speakers  Sona Mammadova, director of the Nakhchivan Medical College under NSU, director of the Music College Mahabbat Babayeva and director of the English-oriented Gymnasium Nazim Rahimov wished success to the entire staff of the college with a congratulatory speech.
