NSU Rector Elbrus Isayev held a meeting at the International Cambridge School and participated in the "Science and Creativity" exhibition

The "Science and Creativity Exhibition" was organized on April 26 at the International Cambridge School of Nakhchivan State University.

Before the exhibition, the rector of the university, Elbrus Isayev, held a meeting with the parents and teaching staff of the students of I and VI grades of the school.

At the meeting, the rector highly appreciated the activities of the school, the applied modern teaching methods, the projects that serve to develop students' creative and analytical thinking skills  . He emphasized that although students study in English in Cambridge, loyalty to the ideology of Azerbaijanism, national traditions and moral values ​​is maintained as the main priority. During the meeting, the rector informed about the expected innovations, noted that in the near future students will be presented with tablets for use in the lesson process, that work is being done in order to use the capabilities of the Batabat Astrophysics Observatory, which is under the authority of the Nakhchivan State University by the order of the President of the country, and that observations of the sky through a telescope will be organized for the students in the evening. At the same time, informing about summer schools, he pointed out that two-week study trips to Nottingham, England are planned for students. Rector Elbrus Isayev said that these students will contribute to the development of our country as young people with special abilities and talents, who are creative, able to keep up with new technologies, and will contribute to the development of our country. Mathematics, 10 Chemistry and Biology,  7 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) each of them attracted attention for their interesting and innovative. At the same time  in the exhibition  Painting section  students on various topics paintings were also exhibited. Overall, the exhibition provided ample opportunities for students to develop their research, presentation and creative expression skills. The knowledge they acquired was demonstrated in a practical way and shared with their peers. The event was also organized in accordance with the project-based learning philosophy of the Cambridge curriculum. that the entire community of Nakhchivan was invited to the exhibition.
