Rector of NSU Elbrus Isayev held a meeting with first-year graduate students

On October 14, Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev held a meeting with students who received the title of master's degree in the 2025-2026 academic year.

At the meeting rector Elbrus Isayev noted that this year 209 graduate students were admitted to the master's degree in 54 specializations at the higher education institution. Talking about the conditions created for the development of academic activity at the university, the rector pointed out that graduate students should take advantage of the Scientific Library with access to international scientific databases such as EBSCO, Clarivate, Taylor Francis, the IELTS Registration and Examination Center, which provides an opportunity to master the English language at a perfect level for integration into modern research, the involvement of foreign scientists in teaching and student mobility. In this framework, the importance of the initial main goal of graduate students to increase the quality of research, analysis, and innovative approach, and the importance of special and serious preparation for dissertation work was emphasized. It was stated that every student should base his subject on aspects of scientific and practical importance, because these scientific-research works are one of the main indicators reflecting the university's academic level. Elbrus Isayev spoke about the duties of graduate students and academic supervisors in order to improve the quality of teaching, and in the end, he noted that it is necessary to make presentations aimed at improving the quality of teaching. graduate students started classes with the new curriculum.
