The highest indicator in the history of NSU: 50 foreign scientists will work in the higher education institution in the 2025-2026 academic year
Nakhchivan State Universityis among the strategic goalsattracting southern academics to teachingis kept in particular attention , close cooperation is established in this direction, scientists of foreign higher education institutions are able to be involved in teaching by faculties. It is no coincidence that in the year 2025 the highest number of foreign scientists was recorded in the history of NDU. 31 foreign professors from 7 faculties were invited to the higher education institution in the new academic year. Thus, 50 foreign teachers will work at Nakhchivan State University in 2025-2026 academic year together with invited foreign scientists. Scientists from prestigious universities of Turkey, Jordan, Japan, Hungary and other countries will teach especially in medicine, pharmacy, engineering, economy, international relations, law, foreign languages and other fields. Most of the visiting professors from Turkey's leading higher education institutions Istanbul University, Middle East Technical University (ODTU), Karadeniz Technical University (KTU), Ege University, Istanbul University-Carrahpaşa will give lectures and conduct research. The classes of foreign scientists have already started from the new academic year and they have rich impressions about the teaching period at NSU.
Professor Aysel Ersoy: "Istanbul University - Jarrahpaşa I am a professor of the Chair of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I teach the course "Digital Electronics" in the "Computer Engineering" specialty at Nakhchivan State University. The university has ideal teaching conditions. As an example, we can mention the newly opened Nakhchivan Innovation Center, which has 5 laboratories. During the teaching period, foreigners and Azerbaijanis We teach talented students from different regions in English. They are very intellectual, they have a good command of both foreign languages and they fully master academic knowledge.

Professor Mehmet Sarper Erdoğan: "As a professor of Istanbul University-Carrahpaşa, I teach classes in the field of public health. I am very happy to be in Nakhchivan and I will be here four times during the semester. My first impression of the lesson is high and I will gladly participate in the next visits as well". text-align: justify; background: white">Let's note that professional development trainings have been started at the higher education center since October, and in this framework, foreign professors conduct trainings for teachers of all faculties. These trainings will continue until April next year. It should be noted that in April of this year, a large-scale "International Training Month" program was implemented for the first time in Azerbaijan's higher education space, precisely at NSU. Within the program, 21 training universities from 6 countries covered various fields of training. Those trainings were held in 3 languages - Azerbaijani, Turkish and English, with the participation of well-known experts from the USA, Japan, England, Turkey, the Netherlands and Uzbekistan.
